During some of the most trying times in our family ‘s life, the One Story At a Time Foundation was founded. Patrick’s pancreatic cancer diagnosis was devastating to us. Navigating where to go for surgery and treatments was difficult. We found our way though and we were guided to some of the best doctors, nurses and holistic healers in the country. Patrick fought this disease every day for three years. He was not alone in his fight and through out our journey we realized that we had to handle it from a mind, body, spirit perspective. We found ways to do this through many amazing people we met along the way. We want to help others do the same. Through One Story At a Time we will help others travel that road while we focus on early detection and cure for this very difficult to treat disease.
The One Story at a Time Foundation, rooted in love, is dedicated to Patrick’s memory. It is his family’s personal mission of keeping Patrick’s legacy alive, helping others as Patrick did so often. He is so very missed by all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his practical joking, giving nature, desire to always help others, love of life and extreme love of his family and amazing friends.
