About the Hunt & Event
Limit of 16 pheasants per group; any hunter combination.

Donation per person $150.00, Non-refundable, Checks payable to “One Story at a Time.” They can be given to Steve Panaro, Brett Campanella, Bill Cheney or mailed to One Story at a Time, PO Box
Weather: Hunt will proceed (rain, wind, snow, etc.), unless there is “extreme weather conditions that will compromise hunter safety.” If the hunt is cancelled the full $150.00 donation will be returned.
Prizes and 50/50 Split Club.
OPEN INVITATION: All hunters are invited to a “real Italian” spaghetti dinner to be hosted by Dina Story at her home (Clarence, NY) after the days hunt. Free of charge. Details are forthcoming.
Registration Process
Step 1: Select the hunting slot that you want: (Hunt number & Time)
Note: Hunting slots are on a first PAID basis. We will do our best to accommodate hunters that want to hunt with the same group to make this a more enjoyable experience. Youth hunters will be paired with accompanying adult.
Hunt #1 8am – 10am 16 Hunters 4 per group (Group 1,2,3,4)
Hunt #2 10am – 12pm 16 Hunters 4 per group (Group 1,2,3,4
12pm – 2pm Provided Hot Lunch & cold/hot beverages, prizes & 50/50 drawing
Hunt #3 2pm – 4pm 16 Hunters 4 per group (Group 1,2,3,4)
Hunt #4 4pm – 6pm 16 Hunters 4 per group (Group 1,2,3,4)

Rules of the Hunt:
- Hunters should arrive at least 30 minuets prior to their scheduled hunt.
- Hunting license is not required as per NY State law.
- All hunters must wear blaze orange. Hat with vest is recommended. Consider a vest with a pouch to hold birds.
- Must be experienced with firearms handling and safety!
- Minimum age is 14 provided that a hunters safety course has been passed. Must be accompanied by adult in the hunting fields.
- Personal dogs can be used provided they are a trained “bird dog!” Untrained dogs are not permitted in the hunting fields.
- No drinking of alcohol prior to hunt; strictly enforced!
Please note:
- Note that there is only ONE lunch break between 12pm -2pm.
- Hot & cold beverages will be available throughout the day.
